When:

September 13-16, 2021. The Conference begins at 9 a.m. PT

At the AI Hardware Summit, Rambus will be hosting several presentations on September 13 and 15. The presentations will target a range of expertise from "Memory 101" to a more advanced panel on "Memory and Interconnect Bandwidth: Critical Enablers for Advancing AI." There will also be a roundtable Q&A session where attendees can ask Rambus experts questions on memory.

Dr. Steven Woo, fellow and distinguished inventor at Rambus, will present a "Memory 101" session that will be available on-demand starting Sept. 13, where he will discuss the various memory solutions for AI/ML applications and the benefits of each.

Later on Sept. 13, Woo will co-host a "Memory 101: Ask the Experts" roundtable discussion with Frank Ferro, senior director of product management at Rambus from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. PT. The interactive discussion will give attendees the opportunity to ask questions about design and implementation challenges relating to memory for AI.

On Sept. 15, from 11:35 a.m. – 12:10 p.m. PT, Woo will lead a virtual panel of technology experts for a discussion of the importance of improving memory and interfaces for advancing AI/ML performance. The session will cover the topic of "Memory and Interconnect Bandwidth: Critical Enablers for Advancing AI." The panel will focus on AI advances in domain-specific architectures and how hardware/software co-design have resulted in drastic increases in AI performance. This increase has enabled larger and more accurate models to be developed, which is also driving rapid growth for training sets. Due to these trends, memory and interfaces that supply data to AI processors will only become even more critical and important in the future.
