Join Rambus at the Computational Sensing and Imaging Conference to hear
research scientist Dr. Patrick Gill present his work with a Cornell
University team in developing the world's smallest digital camera, the
Planar Fourier Capture Array (PFCA). This prototype camera requires no
focusing optics or color filter while still enabling color imaging of
distant objects.
Dr. Gill recently joined the team of Rambus Labs. He graduated with high
distinction in physics with a minor in mathematics from the University
of Toronto and holds a PhD in biophysics from the University of
California, Berkeley. He brings to Rambus his broad expertise in
physics, mathematics, electrical engineering, computer science,
neuroscience and psychology. Dr. Gill recently won a 2012 ISSCC
outstanding paper award and has several issued patents in computational
sensing.
