Industry luminary to lead Rambus Labs initiative in Computational
Sensing and Imaging
SUNNYVALE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--
Rambus Inc. (NASDAQ:RMBS), one of the world's premier technology
licensing companies, today announced the appointment of David G. Stork,
Ph.D., to Rambus Labs where he'll spearhead the development of the
company's computational sensing and imaging initiative. Dr. Stork is a
renowned industry expert in optics and the development of algorithms
that enable novel sensing, imaging and image analysis techniques. His
honors include being named a Fellow from the International Association
for Pattern Recognition.

Over the course of his career, Dr. Stork has held many corporate
research and academic positions, resulting in 40 patented inventions and
numerous books, journal papers, invited papers and plenary talks in
leading journals and conferences. Dr. Stork has also held faculty
positions as well as visiting professor and lecturer positions at Boston
University, Clark University, Stanford University and Swarthmore College.
Dr. Stork holds a Ph.D. and M.S. in Physics from the University of
Maryland and a B.S. in Physics from Massachusetts Institute of
Technology. He is also a senior member of the IEEE.
