Inc. (NASDAQ:RMBS), one of the world's premier technology licensing

announced that it is the recipient of the Pathways
Hospice Foundation Frances C. Arrillaga Humanitarian Award for 2009.
This marks the first time that the recipient of the Frances C. Arrillaga
Award has gone to an organization.
The award honors Rambus for its leadership in philanthropic efforts,
inspiration to the community and the generous support it has given to
Pathways, a not-for-profit organization providing compassionate quality
home health and hospice care.

Each year, a committee selects recipients of the Frances C. Arrillaga
Humanitarian, One from the Heart and John W. Gardner Visionary Awards.
For the Frances C. Arrillaga Humanitarian Award, the selection committee
seeks individuals and organizations that have made a difference to
Pathways and to philanthropy within the Bay Area.

Rambus will accept the Frances C. Arrillaga Humanitarian Award at
Pathways' Annual One from the Heart Awards Breakfast on October 8, 2009.
